    Stephen Ozanne

    Chair of the GIFA Custodian Committee

    Stephen is Chief Executive of Liberum Wealth. Prior to Liberum, Stephen established and led Walkers’ Channel Islands Regulatory & Risk Advisory Group following its merger with Guernsey law firm AO Hall, where he worked for over 12 years. His practice there included all aspects of financial services regulation and he was ranked as a rising star by Legal 500.

    Stephen was called to the Bar of England & Wales in 2008 with a Harmsworth Scholarship, he holds an LLB from the College of Law and a BA (Hons) in Politics from the University of Exeter

    Jason Liddy

    Jason Liddy is an Executive Director and Head of Alternative Operations at HSBC Management (Guernsey) Limited. Jason is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (FCSI) with seventeen years’ offshore experience specialising in funds and investments, most recently with Kleinwort Benson.

    Richard Bray

    Richard Bray has over 30 years in depth experience in Fund Administration, including 13 years with a major Swiss financial institution. Richard has worked on a wide variety of funds, from relatively simple long only bond and equity funds, through to complex structured products and including private equity, commodity, derivative, and hedge funds of various strategies.

    Principally from an operational background, Richard has also worked closely with clients with the structuring of their products, and following on through to the successful set up and running of the fund. He has an in depth knowledge of all aspects of fund administration across a wide variety of fund types and strategies. Richard sits on the Boards of a variety of funds, investment management companies and fund administration companies. Richard is a Member of the Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Directors. He is also a member of administration and technical sub-committees of GIFA. As part of the GIFA technical committee, Richard worked with the team that produced Guernsey’s AIFM rules and regulations.

    Mark Oliphant

    Chair GIFA Marketing & Events Committee

    Mark is Head of Marketing & Communications at The International Stock Exchange (TISE). His role involves the formulation of marketing and communications strategy and overseeing its successful delivery across a range of products and markets.

     

     

    He previously spent nearly a decade at Guernsey Finance, promoting the island’s finance industry to a global audience. A former journalist, Mark is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (FCIPR), a Chartered Practitioner (Chart. PR) and is a former Chairman of the Channel Islands Group of the CIPR.

    Mark is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Chairs the Marketing Committee of the Guernsey Investment & Funds Association (GIFA) and is a Member of the Guernsey Sustainable Finance Council.

    He has a First Class Degree in Modern History and Politics from Sheffield University where he also attained a Masters in Historical Research.

    Chair of the GIFA NED Committee

    Charlotte Denton is a C-Suite executive, pension scheme trustee, founder and currently a Guernsey based non-executive Director with decades of experience of leading regulated businesses in Guernsey and London and fourteen years of serving as a Director. Internationally networked in the private client and family office sector and, through trustee roles for clients and pension schemes, have demonstrated skills in investment oversight. Strategic thinking and financial skills have added value across diverse organisations and locations from preparing a strategy to enter Asia for a NYSE listed American bank to growing a property development start up that she co-owned.
