GIFA Academy Event: Continuation Funds: What’s the noise about?

We are pleased to welcome Andrew Tually, Investment Funds Partner at Carey Olsen, to provide a thoughtful analysis of Continuation Funds which have regularly been in the news in recent times. In this session, Hadley Chilton, Partner at Cork Gully, will also discuss with Andrew some of the challenges and considerations pertaining to continuation funds.

Continuation funds have grown significantly in number and size in recent years as an alternative to traditional closed-ended fund exit options, driven by ongoing difficulties in the IPO market and M&A activity. Andrew will discuss how Guernsey provides an ideal domicile for continuation funds, with proportionate, principle-based regulation, and a neutral tax environment, facilitating quick-to-market establishments and competitive ongoing costs.
