GIFA Academy Event – Panel Session: Why Guernsey?

GIFA would like to invite all those working in the industry, in every field and level of seniority, to join us for this upcoming panel session: “Insights and Business Development Strategies for Fund and Investment Professionals”.

GIFA Academy kicks off the new year on a positive note, exploring the many reasons why businesses continue to set up in Guernsey and play their role in furthering the fortunes of our funds and investment sector.

– Hear from those who have done it as they explain their rationale for choosing Guernsey
– Hear from Guernsey Finance on their role in attracting business to the island
– Take away key messages to empower us all to be Guernsey’s best ambassadors

We are delighted to be welcoming panellists Jay Goss (Aston), Damien Fitzgerald (GP Funds), Stephan Hartzenberg (PIM Capital) and Rupert Pleasant (Guernsey Finance), moderated by GIFA Chair, Haley Camp.

The session will aim to highlight the strategic reasons why prominent financial institutions choose Guernsey for their physical presence and equip participants with key business development messaging to effectively promote Guernsey as a jurisdiction of choice for fund and investment activities.

The event is being held at Les Cotils, in the Harry Bound room. We would politely request you arrive in good time to register for the presentation, which will start promptly at 12.30pm.
