GIFA Academy Event – Recap of Fund accounting and auditing standards

With year end reporting and audit season upon us, this event will be a timely reminder for many Members of the key accounting standards for Funds. This event will specifically recap on the requirements of fair value, including the International Private Equity and Venture Capital Valuation Guidelines (IPEV) and the special COVID-19 valuation guidance that remains applicable in current market conditions.
The event will also recap on the requirements of IFRS 9, the prior year changes in auditing standards for accounting estimates (ISA 540) and look ahead to ESG considerations.
The event will be held on Friday, 28 January 2022 commencing at 1230. Given the current levels of COVID-19, this event will be held via Zoom. You can register for the event here.

We have two experienced presenters whose bios are below.
Elisha Backhouse is a senior manager in PwC Channel Islands’ Guernsey office and a member of the GIFA Education Committee. Elisha has broad experience across a wide range of sectors within the financial services industry, specialising in venture capital and private equity funds.
Milly Ingrouille is an experienced manager in PwC Channel Islands’ Guernsey office, having recently returned from a secondment in Sydney, Australia. She specialises in alternative asset management, specifically private equity and private debt funds.
