GIFA Academy Event – The new Lending, Credit and Finance regime

The introduction of the Lending, Credit and Finance (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2022 creates an entirely new legal and regulatory regime for certain financial and ancillary activities. Firms that operate in the financial sector in any capacity need to be aware that the changes introduced by this regime may affect them.
With the deadline for obtaining a licence approaching fast (1 July 2023), Collas Crill partner Wayne Atkinson will discuss:
• the law and rules in brief and the sectors most affected;
