GIFA Academy Event – What’s new for valuations, reporting and auditing standards?
23/01/2023 @ 8:30 am - 9:30 am
It is that time of year again for year end reporting and audits, so this event will be a timely reminder of key standards applicable for Funds.
This event will specifically recap on the requirements of fair value, including the updates made in the 2022 International Private Equity and Venture Capital Valuation Guidelines (IPEV) that were released in December 2022 and the potential impact of the wider current economic environment on financial reporting.
The event will also provide an overview of the changes in the requirements of the auditing standard relating to identifying and assessing the risks of material misstatement that became effective for financial statement periods beginning on or after 15 December 2021 (ISA 315 revised) and recap on the auditing standard for accounting estimates (ISA 540 revised).
We have two experienced presenters whose bios are below. They will be assisted by Elisha Backhouse, a senior manager at PwC Channel Islands and member of the GIFA Education Committee.
The event is being held at Les Cotils on Monday 23 January, 2023 commencing at 0830. Bacon roll and beverages will be provided. If you wish to attend the event, please register here.
This event should be of interest to those responsible for preparing, reviewing or approving accounts/valuations.
