24/03/2023 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
Sanctions Update
Join us for an interactive fireside discussion on what you need to know to safely navigate sanctions while conducting your important NED role(s).
Nin Ritchie, Group Partner at Collas Crill in the dispute resolution team with a strong sanctions practice that extends across transactional, advisory and contentious matters, and Stephen Rouxel, Head of Business at HSBC Asset Management Guernsey and Vice Chair of GIFA, will provide an update on the current Guernsey sanctions framework in light of the changes arising from the UK’s departure from the EU; and not least, the invasion of the Ukraine by Russia which has seen the landscape of sanctions evolve rapidly and in a way that hasn’t been seen before.
While the PRC have been working hard to engage with industry, the impact of getting your sanctions obligations wrong can have catastrophic consequences for firms, individuals and the Bailiwick of Guernsey.
The event is being held at on Friday 24 March 2023 at the offices of PwC, commencing at 12.30. If you wish to join, please REGISTER HERE.
