There are a number of compelling reasons why fund managers across the globe are looking to redomicile their funds. Here, fund practitioners in Guernsey give their view as to why they are receiving enquiries about migration… Martin Scott, Head of Sanne Guernsey Over the past 12 months, Guernsey has seen a noticeable increase in enquiries from asset managers looking to migrate their fund structures from other jurisdictions. Indeed, here at Sanne, we have received several enquiries from fund managers who either have migrated or are considering redomiciling to Guernsey.

The International Stock Exchange (TISE), headquartered in Guernsey, has announced record turnover, profit and earnings per share for the second consecutive year.  TISE Group’s Annual Report shows that turnover increased 19% to a record £9.9 million, post-tax profit increased 31% to a record £4.

WE ARE GUERNSEY, and indeed Guernsey Green Finance, were honoured to be one of the contributors of funding to the fourth annual State of Play Report from the United Nations Financial Centres for Sustainability Network (FC4S). ‘Leading Financial Centres Stepping Up Sustainability Action’ was the result of FC4S’ annual assessment programme. Its findings identified several key areas where more focus is needed to underpin progress around the sustainable finance agenda.

This year’s Guernsey Finance Industry Update will give attendees the opportunity to see how the promotional agency for the finance sector represents industry – and works together as a team. Titled ‘Facilitation and Collaboration’ the update will cover a range of topics on its operations, both internally and externally. It will also feature updates by the heads of Guernsey’s industry representative bodies – Guernsey Investment & Funds Association, Guernsey Association of Trustees, Guernsey International Insurance Association and Guernsey Association of Pension Providers.
