Vic joined Baring Asset Management Financial Services Group in 1985 and relocated to Dublin in 1990 when he became managing director of their newly established fund administration company. Following the acquisition of the company by Northern Trust, Vic became country head for Northern Trust Irish businesses.
Vic returned to Guernsey in May 2007 and became Chief Executive of Northern Trust’s Channel Islands businesses and Managing Director of Northern Trust International Fund Administration Services (Guernsey) Limited until his retirement in November 2011.
Vic has a wealth of business and board experience stemming from his various management roles in locations covering London, Dublin, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Jersey. Vic was the first chairman of the Irish Funds Industry Association in 1991 and continued to serve as a Council member for the following 12 years until 2003.
Vic has a diverse portfolio of non-executive directorships.
Vic is a qualified accountant and Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
